Winstar Dabbles in the Art World

It was announced today that artnet, a major online fine art portal connecting buyers with art sellers, has selected indie online ad sales leader Winstar to be its exclusive national online sales rep firm.

Since 1995, artnet has modernized the art business through specialized services provided to the dedicated art community. The site presents artworks from the world’s leading galleries, and provides valuable information about art prices, and art market indices. artnet serves nearly 10 million monthly pages views to about 850,0000 unique visitors.

“When you advertise with artnet, you are reaching the world’s most affluent and educated people mainly in areas like New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, but also in European cities like Frankfurt, London and Rome,” says Adam Guild, President of Winstar/Interep Interactive, in a press statement. “artnet’s audience includes a high rate of art collectors and professionals with $150,000+ income. They come to the site predisposed to buy and are comfortable with making purchases over the Internet.”
