NETExponent to Manage Audible.com Affiliate Program
Performance marketing company NETexponent has won an account with online audio content service Audible.com to manage Audible’s affiliate marketing program. Audible specializes in downloadable spoken-word audio content that can be played back on computers and portable audio devices, and burned to CD’s. They offer audio content from the likes of The New Yorker, New York Times and Forbes, as well as podcasts like the Ricky Gervais Show, and audiobooks from authors like Stephen King, Anne Rice, and John Grisham.
NETexponent will handle affiliate support and PPC search management for Audible. They’ll optimize and expand the network, handle all keyword transactions and streamline the bidding process, and work directly with large CPA media partners.
“We’ve had a very successful affiliate and search program for several years and now want to take it to the next level,” said Audible’s SVP of marketing Shoshana Zilberberg in a statement, “NETexponent has the expertise, people, tools and connections with affiliates and media partners to make that happen.”
Audible distributes more than 90,000 hours of content on the web and through Apple’s iTunes Music Store. They also maintain relationships with companies like Amazon.com, HP, Microsoft, and XM Satellite Radio. NETexponent has also handled accounts for companies like the New York Times and the FT.com.
