Jambo Delivers Pay-Per-Call Advertising to Local.com
At this week’s “Drilling Down on Local” conference, held by the Kelsey Group in San Jose, CA, Jambo announced it will work with the Interchange Corporation to integrate pay-per-call capabilities for local advertisers on their site, Local.com. Jambo, an Internet search and directory listings solutions provider that focuses on local markets, has added Local.com to the Jambo Advertising Network (JAN).
For Local.com, this means becoming part of an aggregated sales channel which combines the reach of multiple lead generators. JAN delivers leads that turn into sales and tells merchants where their leads originated. In addition, Jambo sells local merchants pay-per-call advertising packages that enable performance marketing for companies that don’t have websites or that don’t advertise online.
Recently released from beta, Local.com offers a user-friendly local search solution with over 15 million businesses in its network. It provides users links to maps, reviews, sales circulars, and reservation services.
“Local.com is fast becoming a powerful player in local search, taking it beyond directory listings and making it easier than ever to find relevant, helpful information about local businesses, products and services,” said John Melideo, CEO and founder of Jambo, during the conference. “Along with an approach that makes local search uniquely relevant for consumers, our pay-per-call technology enables Local.com to give businesses phone calls in addition to clicks.”
