goWholesale Rings in Pay-Per-Call Advertising
goWholesale, a wholesale portal and comprehensive vertical search solution for businesses, announced Monday it will introduce pay-per-call advertising to its site’s features. Each participating advertiser will receive a toll-free number and a landing page that lists their number, the products they sell, business hours, order and shipping information, and their logo. They will pay a flat fee for each call they receive.
“For the wholesale industry, having an online presence is critical in acquiring new business customers,” said Asad Haroon, General Manager of goWholesale. “Our pay-per-call advertising solution now allows a broader number of wholesale advertisers to leverage the high concentration of wholesale buyer online searches across the goWholesale network.”
According to a recent study by the Kelsey Group, pay-per-call advertising is a market due for huge upcoming gains because of its highly effective lead-generating capability. Incoming calls are estimated to convert to sales 45 percent of the time. The entire pay-per-call market is expected to grow from its current $60 million to $3.7 billion by 2010.
