What they do: Published by CondéNet, Epicurious.com serves double duty as both an online cooking article and recipe listing resource, as well as the internet presence of Condé Nast’s Bon Appétit and Gourmet print magazines. Epicurious incorporates more than 20,000 recipes culled from Bon Appétit, Gourmet, House & Garden, and Self. Epicurious also is also designed to build community around food and cooking by providing interactive features like an online recipe box (where users can rate and comment of recipes), forums, and email newsletters. The also offer cooking video tutorials, restaurant reviews, original articles, and an online cooking store.
