Broadband Enterprises to Distribute AP News, Lifestyle Video
Broadband Enterprises, a company specializing in broadband video sales, syndication and original production, today announced an agreement with AP Digital, a commercial division of The Associated Press. Under the deal, Broadband Enterprises will offer AP news programming, including national/international, celebrity, entertainment and fashion news through vSyndicate, its affiliate network of niche, non-media Web sites.
“Members of our syndication network will now have access to AP Digital’s wide array of video categories, including news, entertainment and lifestyle,” said Bryon Evje, chief operating officer, Broadband Enterprises, in a press statement. “The AP brand serves as a premium complement to our existing categories of syndication content.”
In addition to the programming being provided by AP Digital, Broadband Enterprises syndicates music, sports, business, health, travel, gaming, and various other categories.
AP content will be bundled with video advertisements from leading brand marketers in the consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, automotive, telecom and technology industries, added Evje.
The agreement between AP Digital and Broadband Enterprises is aimed at niche, non-media websites which will enable AP to expand its reach for video content beyond its traditional media markets.
