Podbridge Launches Ad Network

Podbridge. a California based podcast audience measurement and ad network service, launched a new ad network focused on turning make the fast-growing podcast industry into a profitable business. The new service allows users to track of the numbers of listens, place podcast ads based on location and demographics, rotate multiple ads, and manage campaign budgets.

Podbridge has already secured partnerships with the BBC, Clear Channel radio stations KNEW and KQKE, Military.com, and Sports Byline USA in its effort to build a network of major media companies who will utilize Podbridge’s technology for their podcasts. In a press release on Podbridge’s website, Murgesh Navar, Podbridge’s founder and chief executive officer, said, “For podcasting to become a mainstream media, it needs a business model to encourage content providers. We aim to help our content partners generate revenue by providing the insight and accountability needed to attract advertisers.”

Podbridge also announced that Ronning Lipset Radio will be its exclusive third-party advertising representative for selling audio spots into the Podbridge network. Podbridge is funded by venture capital firms the Mayfield Fund and Worldview Technology Partners
