Ogilvy Initiates New Digital Media Branch
Ogilvy Worldwide officially launched its digital/direct media branch, Neo @ OgilvyOne, this week. The new brand and entity was conceived after the January split of Ogilvy and Mindshare Worldwide’s mOne venture. Neo @ OgilvyOne will be aimed at digital advertising, digital TV, e-mail marketing, search marketing, blogs and vlogs.
Nasreen Madhany, the former global head of mOne, was named global CEO of the new venture. The new chief exec is optimistic about their ability to closely monitor the development of creative trends and new technologies in the rapidly expanding arena of digital media. “Digital media is a growth business and one that must be closely aligned with the creative process,” Madhany said in a recent statement. “As part of the Ogilvy network, we are uniquely advantaged to work in partnership with Ogilvy companies to deliver big ideas that cross all media channels for our clients.”
Neo @ OgilvyOne will handle all clients associated with the legacy of Ogilvy Worldwide previous to their partnership with Mindshare Worldwide. Among their global clients are American Express, Cisco, DuPont, IBM, Lenovo, SAP and Yahoo!, while U.S. clients include Allstate, Ameritrade, Pitney Bowes and Six Flags.
