Undertone Networks
http://www.undertonenetworks.com/
What makes your network the best?
Since Undertone’s inception nearly five years ago, the caliber of sites within our network is one of the main things that distinguishes Undertone from other companies in the marketplace. Undertone is comprised of top ranked media properties that offer exceptional direct response and branding opportunities for marketers. Our focus has always been premium websites which means higher quality users and frequency capped ads, along with significant reach and scale.
Our network is organized into content channels that represent the leading websites in these categories: Automotive, Career, Finance, Entertainment, Lifestyle, News, Real Estate, Sports, Travel, and Women, among others. In addition to content channels, we offer a full suite of targeting capabilities that include: behavioral, connection, content channel, day parting, demographic, frequency, geographic, performance, and site-specific targeting.
What other network do you like/view as a competitor and why?
There are a few solid networks in the marketplace today and they all can offer different benefits based on your campaign objectives. We offer a customized approach that allows marketers to focus their messages on top ranked media properties with a broad selection of targeting capabilities, rich media and ad formats. This, coupled with our experience and proven track record of success, have made Undertone one of the most successful and reputable networks in the business.
What technology/improvement would you like to see unveiled to make their network more efficient?
We’re focused on enhancing our network so it’s difficult for us to comment on what changes/improvements other networks should make. While we monitor the space to keep abreast of what other companies are doing, we continue to expand our network, targeting capabilities and rich media partnerships to help marketers reach their online advertising objectives. We’re also fine tuning our pre-roll capabilities and will be rolling that out across the network in Q2.
Reader Comments.
Where did you find some of these networks? Contextweb has had numerous financial problems and paying publishers. I don’t know of any site that uses them. I would call them or BlueLithium a major ad network. The others, I can see as leaders, but not these two. What about other networks? I remember when Adbumb (B.F. ADOTAS) did reports on smaller upcoming networks. Why don’t you expand on those networks? This review is almost a mirror review on the one done over at Mediapost. You really need to think outside the box. You guys used to do this. J.M.O.
