Spanfeller Elected Chair of IAB
The Interactive Advertising Bureau has chosen Jim Spanfeller, president and CEO of Forbes.com, to serve as chairman of the organization for 2006.
In addition to the election of Spanfeller to the top spot, the IAB also added four new members to its board: Eric Chandler, president of the Internet Division of Verizon Information Services, Paul Gardi, executive VP and general manager of Advertising Solutions at InterActiveCorp, Dave Madden, executive vice president, Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Wild Tangent, and Dave Yovanno, general manager of ValueClick Media.
Outgoing IAB president Steve Wadsworth (president of the Walt Disney Internet Group) will remain on the board as a member of its Executive Committee.
