Google announced yesterday that it would be working with web analytics and interactive agency ZAAZ to help strengthen its free Google Analytics service. If you remember, Google Analytics went public to rave reviews last year and became so overloaded with new users that Google stopped accepting signups and moved it to an invitation-only platform in order to control the rapid growth. ZAAZ has now been named as a Google Analytics Authorized Consultant. Its agents will familiarize themselves with the ins and outs of Google Analytics, and provide interactive consulting to Google Analytics customers for an undisclosed fee.
“With this approach, businesses can get enterprise class web analytics free from Google and purchase exactly the consulting services they need from ZAAZ, an industry-recognized professional services leader,” said Google Analytics Product Marketing Manager Brett Crosby in a statement..
Google hopes the addition of the ZAAZ consultancy will help boost the use of Analytics by advertisers, and use the data it gathers more efficiently, especially when it comes to high-end advertisers. ZAAZ, which has already worked with Microsoft, Converse, Reuters, T-Mobile, and National Geographic, specializes in helping marketers and advertisers make sense of marketing analytic data, gaining better results from their campaign.
