Gawker Invades Job Market

As if their blunt, scathing wit and incomparable snarkiness was too big for the blogosphere, Gawker is now encroaching into MediaBistro/Craigslist turf with its new Gawker Jobs. The classifieds venture, which was developed in partnership with job search engine Indeed, scours all the top job boards to deliver an aggregated listing of media jobs available in New York.

And if a media job in the Big Apple doesn’t scratch your itch, you can also adjust your search to look for other jobs elsewhere. But in true Gawker fashion, their simple retort is “why would you?”

  • See, I think this might be a good time to see what would happen if we revisited MySpace, but made the ads slightly bigger... with more strobe effect.
